How it works:
First, you have an online Consultation with Dr Monk.
This is to gather full details of your problem and to review your medical background; any other problems, medications, surgery and so on. Dr Monk explains the treatment in more detail, the benefit you can expect and he will show you the digital treatment unit that you will use to administer your personalised prescriptions.
He will also give you an indication of how many consultations he thinks you will need to achieve a good and lasting improvement. This is usually between 2-4, in addition to the initial consultation.
If you and Dr Monk are happy to proceed with treatment after the initial consultation we will send you a Digital Treatment Unit ready for your first online prescription based consultation.
At that first prescription based consultation, Dr Monk will show you how to set up the Unit to treat yourself following his treatment prescription. He ensures the Unit is set up correctly and that you are clear about your treatment and frequency of self administration.
At subsequent consultations Dr Monk reviews your progress, he may change or add to your prescription, and at the appropriate time he will give you a taper schedule to wind down the treatment so that benefit is maintained.

The Digital Electronic Treatment Unit
This is a small versatile Unit, designed for home use, which can deliver sophisticated treatments by accessing Dr Monk’s years of experience in bioelectronic medicine. The unit is accurate and reliable and can be used for several different approaches within bioelectronic medicine. It is supplied with our specific set of electrodes which allows for flexibility in tailoring a personal prescription for you. It is a one-off purchase which can be used for a range of problems, not just the present condition. You could also share it with other family members too, with separate prescriptions. |
